About this place
The Mohammedan Watch Tower marks the northwest corner of Danaik's Enclosure and overlooks the Noblemen's Quarter. It is the largest and most elaborate of Hampi's surviving watchtowers, with an upper chamber, plastered domes and projecting balconies supported by carved corbel brackets. The exterior is visible from the path approaching from the Underground Shiva Temple, but visitors should not enter or climb the ruin.
